
PRAINHA BEACH RIO DE JANEIRO
Prainha Beach is located West of the city of Rio de Janeiro, passing Barra da Tijuca, Recreio dos Bandeirantes, Macumba Beach, but before arriving to Grumari.
This small beach between Mountains is considered by most the best surf spot in Rio de Janeiro.

PRAINHA RIO DE JANEIRO
You could reach Prainha Beach, with public transportation with the “Surf Bus”. It’s a bus specially prepared to take 30 passanger with their boards.
The itinerary of the Surf Bus is: Largo do Machado(Flamengo)- Botafogo – Copacabana - Ipanema – Leblon – São Conrado – Barra da Tijuca – Recreio – Macumba – Prainha. Leaves at 7h-10h-13h-16h.
You can call 8702-2837 to confirm a place and arrange a meeting point. The Surf Bus returns at 8:30h-11.30H-14:30h-17:30h.

PRAINHA SURF RIO DE JANEIRO
Prainha beach has food and beverage service. During weekends Prainha can get pretty crowded, but on weekdays is almost deserted.
Prainha beach is inserted and sourrounded by vegetation of Rio de Janeiro’s Rain Forest, the “Mata Atlantica”, at Grumari’s Ambiental Protection Area.
